They were used on my Suzuki V-Strom. I needed just a few replacements so I got them my local dealer. He had aftermarket ones.

Look for 3-stage push rivets. I'm not sure of the largest size, I think it's 8mm.

I measured my old ones from wheel arches (County) and 6mm seems right. I assume everyone wants 6mm? Worth checking new Defender ones are the same size.

I don't know if these are the same as the ones my V-Strom had:

See how the type the Strom had are used here (the third one shown in the video): [ame]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Sa1pHB4qnA[/ame]

In Perth my brother inlaw's business is fasteners, bolts, nuts etc, I get all the odd plastic fasteners I need, as he is no rocket scientist I would assume any fastener supplier could source what you need.

D3/D4 plastic inner guard fasteners are the ones I use the most.

    Why not Dzus fasteners?

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dzus_fastener

You can buy them everywhere and much more robust that a plastic rivet.

    They will ultimately rust.
You will probably have to drill holes and screw the mounts in place.

Dzus are really aimed at items you regularly need to remove.

The plastic scrivet is ideal because it installs in a simple hole, doesn't rust but I'd have to admit it sometime doesn't come apart as easily as it should and if you don't have access to the back it's a PITA to remove.

I haven't tried my local fastener shop but as it's more of an automotive item they may not carry them.
    Rare Spares have them http://www.rsp.net.au/Products.aspx?...IVET-FASTENERS
Champion have them http://championpartsonline.com.au/in...ory&path=17_99 and therefore SuperCheap, Autobarn etc.
The above would be OK if you just need a couple in an emergency but otherwise expensive.....

3 position push rivets on alibaba seem to retail at about 0.025 USD each for a buy of 2000ea... ie 2.5 cents. Probably FOB shipping (not defined).

Ive found a supplier of a similar product on ebay, and I've made an modest offer for a qty of 100ea. I'll report back when I know more.
