Thread: rear brake squeal

Often, scuffing up the disc with some emery tape, to break up the hard glaze, is the best cure.

If you don't scuff it up enough, it will come back. Don't go around the diameter of the disk. Sand from centre outwards on an angle to the radius. 30 degrees is best.

I had the same problem with official pads. The solution was to have the discs machined.
