    Smile old mate, it's all meant as a bit of a laugh and is nothing other than friendly banter between two groups of punters who both believe their choice of LR model is the best choice.

    As for talking up one's choice of vehicle etc I guess its not really any different to talking up one's choice of 4x4 club, don't you reckon?

    This whole topic is comparing apples & oranges. What's the "best choice" for moving Mum, Dad & four kids around? Certainly not a Defender 90!

    What's the "best choice" for a tradie who needs to carry lots of heavy materials & tools each day? Certainly not a D3,D4 or RRS!

    "....it's all meant as a bit of a laugh...." . We like a laugh too. I'm sure the other Defender drivers will have a chuckie at this.
