Congratulations Choppy 2925. great colour choice if I do say myself. I like the sound of the mods you've planned as well.
    Cheers, Billy.

Choppy, didn't realise there were Fallow getting around Bathurst, great stuff the Fallow eat well and make good Jerky.

Got myself a 14 point Red two years back, still haven't gotten around to mounting it yet, anyways that's for another forum don't want to bore the guys on here.

Good luck with the Fallow and enjoy the low range if you get to use it.

    Looks good.
Re. the UHF, I mounted mine on the driver's side of the centre cubby near the front of the seat in front of the seatbelt mount, standing upright. It falls easily to hand there. There are then numerous places to mount the mic bracket, either in the cubby or the dash. I just ran power from the battery box under the front seat.
I have a gutter mounted adjustable aerial on the driver's side, so I ran the aerial down the snorkel, across the engine bay and underneath to come up in the battery box, using an existing hole, and then with the power lead across under the cubby to the UHF. Cable ties did the job easily.

DiscoMick thanks, I will have a look more closely this weekend.

Yeah there is a heap of fallow only 15-20kms out of Bathurst on your way to orange. We see no less then 30-40 over 3 days and 2 nights. Then we decide on the second afternoon which animal we want and take it, if you don't spoke them they are always not 2 far.

If found the roof console a great space saver and tidy way to mount radios and have an extra shelf for gloves beanies, spare ammo box and lure container.

I have few acres on the northern side of Bathurst. No fallow but the occasional red is seen from time to time

Went out the other afternoon to get a couple of bunnies and there in my neighbor's lucerne paddock was a red hind and fawn.

Freezer is now full of venison meant and plenty of sausages.

You don't realise how big they are until you try and lift them into the back of the ute
