want your puma powered defender to haul arse?

I was just talking to Roo Systems and they are offering a 4wd camper show special at around $1450 for ecu tune.

Depending on your exhaust and your requirements they promise between 15% and 35% increase in power and torque....dyno confirmed... with around 5%-15% fuel reduction depending upon driving style.

To have 130 odd kw and around 400nm of torque would suit me fine.

Plus it will extend my fuel range out to a conservative 950km on an 80 litre tank.

Now if the minister for finance agrees (because I'm a kept man now)I will be ordering my tune on friday.

Please talk to Roo Systems...don't quote me.....every figure I stated will change on the day and the vehicle.

yep, but it's same engine gearbox 130" wheelbase.

Roos systems can give same results (and more if you want) to your defender 2.2

I have the Bas tune on mine for over 6 months (with the Intercooler, silicone hoses and free flowing exhaust) and it hauls now.

It did work out cheaper than that without the group buys that have been occurring and Pete has been excellent with supporting his product.

I haven't had it dyna tuned to see what I am getting but it is so much better to drive now.

That's more expensive than the BAS unit, and you don't get anyway to return the car to standard, or a handy diagnostics unit. Glad you're happy with what they do though.
