    2.2 puma tuning

Has anyone done it and what path have you taken? What are the costs of this process?

Is there a notable difference? I'm not really asking in terms of on road but more so off road how does it perform?

    Exhaust done with it?

Alive Tuning via MR Automotive Redcliff Brisbane

I just picked my 2012 110 up last night after the following:
    Alive remap
    EGR blank and switch off
    Exhaust modification
    Larger radiator
    Larger intercooler
    Engine watch dog
    Cruise control
    Terrafirma shocks
    King springs.
    Service.
Its a different vehicle, but its not been off road yetsince last night.
Loads more usable power and torque
Next to no kangarooing (better fueling map)
    Im extremly happy.
Around $1500 for the remap, all the work cost around $7K
Service at MRA was brilliant, and I cannot recommend enough.

+1 Been a customer of BAS for ~7 years now, with 4 vehicles. Very happy with his products, and his service is second to none.

+2 for BAS. Totally transformed my 2.4 Puma a year or so ago, and Pete's approach to customer service is very refreshing. A total gentleman, and a fantastic product.

    Egr delet and blanked
    Front mounted cooler and hoses
    Decat and rear muffler removed
    Snorkel
    Alive tune through Davis performance

Good for around 170 hp and 450nm

    As for how it goes,
    - spools up much faster
    - a lot more torque where you want it
    - better fuel economy
    - more of a pleasure to drive

Off road: its unreal. Its no longer feels lethargic but rather punchy and powerful.

Would i recomended it: in a heart beat.....amazing

The best part is over taking cruisers on a up hill slope on the highway......they cant stand it.

Curious. Those getting the Alive tunes - are Davis giving you the programmer for that price?

No. However he does guarantee that the tune can be reinstalled or a different version remapped if one is not happy with their tune free of cost.
I think for me personally the idea of using Bruce was that i have someone locally (in Australia ) that i can talk too. BAS being straight out of the UK made things a little complicated for me.....i prefer dealing with people in person.
On a different note : Tombie do you run an egt gauge????
