Diff bearings
Hello Everyone
I am installing a truetrac into the rear Salisbury diff of my 95 defender and while I have got the diff out I am going to replace all the bearings. So I bought all new Timken bearings thinking they were the OEM bearings but when I pulled the diff and pinion out the bearings were all Koyo bearing. So I am wondering if I use the same shims for the pinion and diff would all the measurements be alright or is there a difference between the two makes of bearings. I bought the ute 2nd hand and don't know if anything has been done to the diff before.
Thanks

You set the clearances every time you change regardless... Your original clearances will be bad now, so redo the lot.
