    Glind shower install Td5 Defender

    Hello all,
I'm about to install a glind shower system into my Td5 Defender (thanks Worene) and was hoping someone could post up some photos of the component positions.
I've done an AULRO search and although I get a few hits I don't get any pictures.

    Thanks all.

Pics in post number 17 in the thread below.

    "Glind" Hot Water

I was thinking of putting one in my TDCi 2.2 but decided against it.
There is much less room under the bonnet of a 2.2 than a Td5 for fitting extra stuff.

Do they work with a Td5?

I was under the impression that the Td5 doesnt make enough heat???

    Could be wrong.
    Cheers

Correct Slunnie. It won't get up to temp idling..
Would have to be driven for 5-15min before using.

I wish Id taken pictures of the setup in the defender that had it in but some clever cookie on a camping trip had put in one of the flexible wash bags in for the wiper wash water and converted the space used by the existing washer water bottle for a hot water tank, it heated off of a glind type shower unit by convection..

It was around the time I did the EGR blank on big red and I was going to plagerise the idea and use the EGR cooler to do the same thing.
