Always looking for a good drop, I'd have to say Bin 28 is usually good. Went to the National Gallery yesterday, where Wifey is a member, and had a very nice medium rare rib-eye in the attached Garden Restaurant. We had a bottle of Bishop? (can't remember the full name!) Shiraz which went down very nicely,...there's a lot of good stuff around,...unfortunately some bad ones too!
Finally, I'm not into "Art", but the National Gallery is quite special, I'd recommend a visit.
Anyway, if there's any "get togethers" involving Shiraz, I'm in!

I was at the National Gallery in Canberra recently and agree it was an excellent show. Didn't eat there, but the coffee outside was OK.
I stood in front of Blue Poles and tried to figure out if Pollack was drunk when he did it. I think he probably was.

NB: I've done a bit of research for any wine drinkers. The wine we drank was "Bishop Shiraz" made bt Glaetzer Wines, Barossa,..av price seems to be around $30.
    I reckon if you're a Shiraz connoisseur, you're into art. 👍

From all this discussion about Shiraz, does it man that the new Defender won't run on petrol, diesel or electricity but instead will be fueled by Shiraz.

Or maybe just the owners/drivers will be.

I think I also like the idea of an hybrid or all electric Defender also, does this mean they wont leak oil!

Yep, nice drop. Often seen in these parts. Goes very well with a good steak as you say, or a standing rib done in the Weber. Hmmm, there's an idea for the weekend.....

Have I stumbled into the wrong thread? I thought this was "The New Defender", not "Threads that go off topic"!
