    Rustfree

$1800. Not cheap, however being a two pac application it’s not going to be easily removed.
Done by Steve at RUSTFREE, Moorooka 07-38924992.
He’s done quite a few Defenders.

Re-attached the winch and got the cable on the drum. Will be scheduling monthly reminders in my phone to pull the cable out and bring it back in. Got stuck in a very sketchy situation thanks to not keeping a close eye on it, especially after submerging it in water several times. Was full of rust. Thankfully, didn't have to replace anything to get her going again.

Law of diminishing returns kicks in at some point - the heavier the vehicle is, the more fuel it will use....
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

true that Vlad, will carry max fuel only if it warrants it only on those long trips that i haven't done yet. Where does one weigh a truck these days? Like to see how much it end up with all the mods etc

Public weighbridges, on the highway, when they are not manned some have "self check available", a free service.

Or you can pay for it at major servos. Intended for trucks but it is not uncommon for 4x4's and or caravans to use them.
