    Well,
Whilst away BOR did the 20,000 service and installed a Terrafirma straight through pipe and BAS InterCooler. The 150 h.p tune already being there.
All i can saw is sweet, so smooth & progressive. Must be the pipe as i dont think there has been enough load/heat to bring the I/C into play.
    A total transformation.

Now, being mechanically challenged, i thought i would change the AM/FM aerial, pushed the dash out and saw where the aerial cable disappears downwards. I was going to tie a pull cable to it and pull it through, but have hesitated and reassembled, any advice on the cable route, methods would be appreciated.
By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

    Andy.
Unless you want to remove your instrument cluster, and if you have enough coax, there is a rubber wiring seal on the left side of the fire wall, where you can pull the little nib off, and run coax from behind the blank fuse panel in to the stereo area. I chose this route after mucking around trying to run my up rated AM/FM fibre glass antenna to my Alpine ILX 700 Car Play head unit.
I'd recommend this route if you have the cable spare.

Just purchased apt fabrications 90 fuel tank guard. Yesterday after my trip away I filled up for the first time and as I was walking back from paying noticed diesel leaking at a pretty scary rate from where I could only say the filler joins the tank. Had to go to work so just drove off. When I got to work it had stopped leaking. After reading a little I'm guessing my tank breather is blocked or damaged. Either way I've been worried into getting protection for the tank.

Hope it's just a breather issue!
I've tought about rear tank protection, but I have a Long Ranger 127 liter replacement, so it's built pretty tough to start with.

    Wouldn't worry with that tank..

I sat my vehicle on mine many times and all it had was a scratch and a dent...

Today I took the Defender on the Land Rover Experience day that I was given a voucher for when I bought it. A most enjoyable and instructive day pottering around Kowen Forest Near Canberra. We had three Defenders along as participants, a single Disco 4, a couple of Rangie Sports and the rest of the field was made up of Discovery Sports.

Probably the last time some of the vehicles there will ever get that dusty

I always learn something at driver training days and today's lesson was that in low range the Defender's throttle response is different from High Range. They also showed us just how good the anti stall is as well.

Nowhere very exciting, a bit of a loop around not far in from the Sutton road side in the morning, the Defenders got to do a steep little track of the ridge whilst the other vehicles practiced fiddling with their knobs
Lunch at the rally course/Homestead site/ picnic area then along the northern side of the gorge to do a river crossing but it was declared too deep for the punters after the RRS went through (800mm).
