    Today, some what reluctantly, I washed Central Australia off the "Kelvinator"



    Oh....and screwed the external front passenger door handle back on, replaced a screw on the drivers side windshield and tightened the visor fixings: all shook loose! Not bad for a 11,500 km trip.

    If you're worried about it, put the plugs on top of the bracket:



    They're pretty much protected by the towbar then.

    Attached my new camper trailer to the Defender today. Skamper Kamper Ranger XL.

    I need to install some polyair's to level the rear out but over all it towed home very well.

    Took mine for a 4hr long blast down the highway from Malaysia into Singapore yesterday, and 4hrs back home to Malaysia again today. (Second time in 2 weeks and about the 4th time this year)

    Love how my barge drives at sustained highway speeds (110-160km/h), and how it drives all day in low range when up jungle and in mud.

    Totally versatile.

    Confirmed with the paint shop to replace the rear door lower hinge, which had broken into two pieces.
