I put my order in for Nugget's seat box corner protectors. I've gone for the screw on version. A: Because I'm not usually very neat and B: because I might need to remove them at some stage.
Now I'm going out to see if I can locate the tops of the Diff Breathers. Guess what my next bit of Nugget stuff will be.
    Cheers, Billy.

    270 Deg Free standing awning

After having difficulty setting up my ARB awning by myself for the last time, and Rufus getting his lead tangled around the legs for the hundredth time, I've had enough.
I just purchased a brilliant 270 deg free standing awning. It can be tied down and use legs if you need to.
I'll get it fitted at Airly beach on Tuesday, along with HD hubs.
    Photos to follow.
    Best wishes all.

    Yep.
Mark at Whitsunday European Prestege (Sydney 4x4 Accessories agent) showed me how easy it was to set up by yourself. Took about 30 seconds, and you can actually move the truck with the awning opened up if you had a reason.
They are surprisingly lite as well.
I'm looking forward to getting it next week.

I should add, that if anyone is after one, now is the time to buy.
$800 as opposed to $1200 as there are a few rub marks and wear holes in the cover only. No damage to the awning itself.
They arrived that way from Sth Africa, but are fully functional.

Look good but make sure you tie it down in any wind as I have seen a similar awning bent right over the roof of a Prado in a strong wind in the Simpson.

    Where's home?
Good question. Have been out of AUS for some 19yrs now so don't have a home to go back to as such.

Gotta find a place to live.

Where will I make my home?
It will be in Sydney as thats where the new job will have me based. Never lived in Sydney before. Should be a bit of lark settling in there.

    Hi Mick.
Yes, I would generally peg them down, and it comes with good ropes. Certainly in crook weather so as to allow the rain to drain away and not pool.
