    It's official: I'm a clever bugger!

Cut panels, wired my bum off and swore More than once.
Very happy with the finished result. I fitted another two USB and charge ports on the passenger side facia while I was in the dash. Every one wants to charge phones, iPads etc now days.
The panels fit well, quite chuffed with the end result. It is a very tight reach for the OEM loom to the relocated switches, JUST managed it. I now need to relocate my Redarc caravan brake controller. Not sure where to mount the switch yet, as well as a bugger of a feature on the Alpine head unit, a hand brake switch. It won't let me get out of Demo mode till I connect it up. Now I have to find the hand brake switch, as I'm not pulling my instrument cluster out again for anything. (Would have tapped into the instrument hand brake indication for ease.)
Anyway, any questions for those about to do the same, just ask.
    Best wishes all.
    Ken

Swapped out the BAS ECU and (re)fitted the original stock ECU.

The vehicle is going to LR Malaysia service dept tomorrow where they are supposed to replace all the original computers (ECU, 10AS, and instrument) with a new matched set with a known EKA that they can share with me.

If this latest attempt at a solution works - it will have taken more than 3yrs after purchase, now out of warranty even, to finally give me the EKA that should have been delivered with the vehicle.

Why replace all 3 vehicle computers? Apparently the 10AS that came with my MY2013 vehicle is no longer able to be ordered/supplied. So LR are going to fit the latest version as is fitted to MY2015- models. This is apparently incompatible with the other 2 computers so these too are to be replaced.
(All FOC under warranty - heartfelt thanks to LR global and LR Malaysia for these efforts. No complaints regards the length of time to get here - haven't yet had to walk out of the jungle due to a recalcitrant immobilizer)

Here's hoping the "upgrade" to MY2015 electronics does not cause other issues, no configuration errors either!

    Nice job Ken!

Tell me, is the small switch near your redarc Voltage gauge to give it power to read it, or part of the tow ccontroller that you had on that panel previously?

    I did this today:

    Gday Toxic.
Thanks mate. I just read your latest post and saw your switch install. Jeez the webbing behind the panels is a mongrel to cut through eh!
I still need to get a bit more dremel time in to improve the clearance of my side panel.
Re the switch, it's the programming button for the Redarc volt meter. They are a bit flasher than just a basic volt meter.
I think the Redarc brake controller rotary button will go up top near the right round vent, if there's clearance behind the panel.
It's never ending, but I enjoy modding as much as driving my truck.
    Best wishes mate.

    Cheers,
I know what you mean. It's like man Lego. Always something to pull apart and modify / change.
I've put 18,000km on the vehicle since May '14. Going north in October/November, so will see some extra kays then.

So Neil, does this mean you might have to buy a second unlocked ECU to reinstall the B.A.S.2?
    Cheers, Billy.

I do like the look of your double DIN in the dash, but am put off by the likely cost of getting someone to install it.

    Hi Mick.
It's really not difficult. You just need to be adventurous and most wires connect to your factory stereo loom.
Usual thing, measure twice, cut once.

Received my BAS intercooler and hose kit today, now to find the time to install it!

Must say excellent service from BAS, 5 day delivery from when order were placed.
