. Thanks to those who contacted me with offers of parts, etc. And special shout out to Bearman for building me an excellent replacement box in record time, and for providing me spare parts FOC, advice and a sympathetic ear. Thanks Brian

Now for the bulkhead. I'm weighing the pros & cons of repair vs replacement. With a tip from Brian, I can probably get the twist out of the old one but it is also crushed and bent inward around the vent. Plus it has a couple of existing fairly crude rust repairs. And I can't weld. So, before I start looking around for a good secondhand one, can someone tell me if later Tdi bulkheads are more-or-less interchangeable with my 1985 LT95 one? I'm assuming the gearbox cutout in the bulkhead is larger on the early 110s but that I should be able to trim a Tdi bulkhead and use the bolted on 'tunnel' panel on my Isuzu bulkhead? Oh, and does anyone know if the Perentie ones are galvanised?
Tdi gearbox cutouts are the same - just the adapter panel that goes between the cutout and the tunnel itself is different for each gearbox.
Mine was originally a LT95/V8 which had been converted to a 200tdi. I've put it back to LT95 - same bulkhead just different adapter/tunnel. 200tdi seatbox is different too but that that doesn't concern you.
There are other minor differences such as the addition of the engine bay fuse box mount in the Tdi's, and the county had one bolt on the top of the front guard that the tdi either doesn't have or different. Likely other minor differences but its been a while since I've had a close look (I've got a tdi b/head sitting in storage for my 120 project).
