    4bd1t conversion into 110

    hi
i want to install a 4bd1t into my V8 county, it has a 4 speed gearbox and i'm assuming it a lt95 due to the fact its a 1985 model.
will the 4bd1t bolt straight in with just welding new mount, i heard that the bell housing on the isuzu is different from the v8. can someone help or guide me to the right site so i can understand the process involved

Have a look on the Isuzu Landrover area. Scroll down and you will see many entries for projects like this including mine.
The LT95 Isuzu bellhousing is different to your V8 item along with clutch and throwout bearing and slave cylinder rod. Mounts are different and are placed on the chassis at a different point too. Gearbox mounts are same. Driveshafts same length. I used an army engine and gearbox (LT95a), and perentie engine mounts (cut from a damaged chassis that I boxed up and attached to the chassis with bolts and crushtubes to avoid welding to the chassis). Each state (NSW, QLD, Vic etc) has somewhat different requirements for registration of modified vehicles so you will need to bone up on this first and foremost.
Have a look at the various posts- Rijidiji performed a nice conversion on his 110 v8. Turbo upgrade posts also abound. The 4BD1T turbo (TB2518) is somewhat a poor performer in the 110 3.54 axle setup.
KLR sell a kit for attaching the power steering pump on the 4BD1T (say, an ex 6x6 engine from the Minto Auctions) along with a reputed good turbo setup as well. The former is cheap enough, the latter is not. Your V* radiator can be modified to suit- and hoses can be purchased straight up from various suppliers. Airfilter housing and radiator shroud you will need to find from somewhere- this isn't too difficult.
My advice is to Get your 'ducks lined up in a row' before you remove or otherwise disable the V8 petrol setup.

Depending on where you're sourcing your Isuzu engine, you might need other bits and pieces, for example, truck engines have a different flywheel housing to a Landy Isuzu engine, among other things.

I'm sure this thread will be helpfull
