Hi all, first post in the non disco section,
I have a mate currently trying too improve his life by investing in a defender, he has two on the radar at the moment, however one of them (both are td5s) has the traction control light on every time its started but goes off after reaching 5 kmh, the dealer has said this is normal but i'm not so sure. If its not normal, what is likely too be the fault?
cheers james

Totally normal. The system tests itself when started, then goes out.
There is only a problem if the light doesn't go out, which may be caused by a faulty sensor. If the light doesn't come on then either the vehicle doesn't have TC or there is a fault.

Same for the Puma. All normal. All rattles and bangs and things abnormal in normal vehicles are also normal....
I trust this helps him make a decision to remain sane or buy a Defender.
