    Puma Defender Sales: Where to buy?

    Hi team, I'm looking into getting a Puma and was wondering if you have any recommendations of where to look (other than carsales/gumtree). Are there any recommended dealers, etc that people from AULRO have had good experience with?

    Looking for one around 30ish (there are a few that pop up) but thought you may be able to point me in the right direction.

    Location not uber important as I can arrange shipping.

    G'day billnus, I got an MY07 130 for less than 30k from a dealer, I wouldn't say the dealer experience was great, but are they ever?

    Just took a lot of searching and saying no to a lot of Defenders that looked perfect bar price/kms/age etc... Eventually found the car on gumtree and contacted the dealer within 30mins of the ad going up.

    I looked at interstate cars too but would hazard against buying them. I've have had 2 warranty issues for things that a mechanics check didn't pick up and would hate to think how I'd deal with that if the dealer was a long distance away.

    Also, Have a look in the AULRO Marketplace forum - Not many Pumas but you might get lucky - and you can guarantee it was a passionate owner at least!

    thanks mate - yes, I'd prefer a well maintained forum members so I do keep a keen eye on the forum sales.

    Keep an eye on the websites for MR Automotive and British Offroad who do sell fixed up Landys, although probably not so many Pumas yet, but you never know.
