Shuddering at speed
Hi folks
I have noticed a shuddering and wobbling of steering when Hector my 2012 110 gets up to about 100km/h. Drop below this speed and all is fine. I don't think this is just an issue with wheel balance and am concerned it could be more of a driveline issue.
Has anybody experienced anything like this with a Puma?
Cheers
Alan

Hi Alan,
I've had a similar experience with my MY07 130 at the same speeds as you and it wasn't the alignment or balance. It was 'allegedly' scalloping on the tyres from a previous owner. I say allegedly as the issue still persists with new tyres and rims (getting new rims shipped as the current rims are out of round from a manufacturing fault).
That was my experience however, it could be any number of things that I'm sure others will inform you of - Panhard Rods/Bushes, steering box, suspension etc.
Cheers,
Michael

As Michael posts, I would firstly have a competant person investigate the condition of the panhard rod bushes
