Personally I would leave it with just the gal finish. I would definitely avoid the unbody tar products.

Basically because the Gal is the only protection you need. If you keep it clean,inside and out, the gal chassis will outlive the rest of the vehicle.

The underbody tar products can be a pain in the ass as moisture can get between them and the frame - especially in joints etc.

If you're worried about the aesthetics and want to hide the gal for that reason - i get that, and I'd probably put a 2k type spray product on it - i've just done a chassis in raptor liner, though a high gloss 2k would probably be a better choice than raptor as it leaves a bit of a rough finish ( 2k is a 2 part paint that requires a hardener - it gives a much better protection than something that comes straight out of a can, as the paint chemically bonds, unlike a 1k )

You'll need a tie coat over the gal before you put a paint ontop - I think you could possibly use upol grip #4, depending on what you're putting ontop of it.
