    Gear Box leak

Half way between Cairns and Melbourne and I thought the rust prevention system from the gear box was working a little too well in my 2012 Puma. Dropped the contents and I'll be generous and say I got half a litre out. I've filled it now but reckon it's probably worth fixing before I head home. Any recommendations on a good mechanic who could do it in Melbourne (North Western side??) or Tasmania?

Also for topping up some say it needs 2.2L but my handbook says 2.4L for the refill? Any thoughts on that?

    Thanks in advance!!!

I remember reading somewhere that the factory fill was 2.4, but the service fill is 2.2 litres. When I changed mine for the first time, I got just over 3lts.

For good Landie workshops around Melbourne NW, maybe try Les Richmond Automotive They're located in Thomastown, 41 Wood St.

Not NW, but I would highly recommend Pickards Automotive in Abbotsford, Land Rover Service Melbourne | Range Rover Service Melbourne - Pickards Automotive
