    defender seats

I've just replaced seat base/back foam(both exmoor trim) on my 03 defender hoping it would make a big difference to comfort- definitely a bit firmer but the seat back foam seems to have a bulge in lower back area that is very uncomfortable/annoying- i fitted as per their video instructions.
I'm starting to wonder if the land rover design team made a deal(kickback) with the UK chiropractors association to keep them in business!

Matt I have always found that the standard seats in my Counties and Perenties are much more comfortable than the Honda Accord VTI and Fairmont Ghia that I have had. I can still drive a full day (approx. 800 -900 klm) in the Perentie and still feel OK when I get out!

Matt, I feel the same way as you about the lower back section. I believe it is just the shape of the defender/county seats. Some people find it really good but doesn't suit me personally. I've currently got Disco seats in my County which I'm finding way more comfortable.

We have the part leather seats in our '13 Defender 90, and find them very good indeed, particularly in view of the 90's "suspension"!
We've done sometimes 800k+ in a day, and always end the drive feeling OK. We've been quite suprised, because We've had other more expensive, supposedly more "friendly" cars, where after a drive, we've got out, feeling a bit "stiff".

Yes, I find the seats in our Defender quite supportive, although firm. Soft seats make my back ache.

About $1200 for a pair of Experts, secondhand, but were fully refurbished and recovered with original recaro materials.

That's a nice price for Recaros.

    puma seats

Perhaps the later seats in the puma's are a better option?
