I've never run it dry but 1000-plus is certainly doable.

Well they fitted the new towbar today, fitted the 02488R as stated by Daz, thx mate. It has worked a treat but does seem to hang down and out a fair bit. Cant do anything about the hanging out bit, it"ll stop idiots running into the the rear end, but if I do a 2" lift, the hanging down bit may be sorted. The only problem I may have is that SWMBO may now not come away with me if she cant get up into the Tardis. Now tell me, is that really a problem?
BTW, 410km and still no movement on the fuel gauge yet.
