abs and tc lights stay on

Hi guys I have a little drama with my 2008 puma defender. A few weeks ago the ignition switch on the back on the ignition lock had a melt down on the way home from work. I had to hold the ignition on to get the last few kms home.the ignition went on and off a number of times on the trip. I replaced the electric part of the switch with a new one but since the. The abs and tc lights stay on. A mate plugged his computer into my truck and there was a couple of faults that he cleared but nothing on the abs. The lights still remain on. I've checked the fuses and cleaned the wheel sensors but they still remain on. Today he plugged his computer into it again but there were no faults and it wouldn't even pick up the abs computer. Not sure what to look at next. Any ideas or help would be appreciated.
    Regards
    Eric

Have a look and see if the brake lights are working.... guessing they arent...

Likely a blown fuse, from memory there are two fuses that can blow.

Depending on the diagnostic tool, some wont pick up secondary systems such as abs..

But assuming it can do secondary systems... then you need to select from the Defenders listed as meeting Euro emissions with a DPF, (note: Defenders in Australia do NOT have a DPF) it will then list ABS systems, if ROW (i think) Rest of world models is selected it drops off the abs etc etc
