Good to hear. Just be a bit careful to start with...its like there's a "Holy Cr@p!!" switch once you get to about 70% throttle. 3rd gear can be dangerous because it starts to get some legs in that cog.

Just ordered the same Remap, and a new Intercooler from BAS. Can't wait, although the exchange rate isn't too pretty this week !

I'll print this post and have it on hand when I go through the same process, nothing like a free lesson

Unfortunatly I thought the Ma- was loaded on the OBD tool, and screwed things up from there.
We eventually sorted it out, although I did research the process on the web site, I was confused by the layout of all the info and videos.
Sorted now, and it's a lovely state of tune. Very smooth, and I'm very happy.
Thanks for all the guidance fellas, I really appreciated the quick replies.
    Good on you.

Had similar experience - vehicle wouldn't start with the "donor" ECU - had to email Pete and he advised that said ECU needed to be "populated" with the tune. Eventually got it right - all happened on a Saturday afternoon and was impressed with his availability at such a time.

Dumb question: Has anyone ordered a BAS remap recently?

...Now that BAS don't supply the new map on a spare ECU, do you just upload the new map to your vehicle using the BAS2RRC plug in tool? or do you need to remove the ECU from the vehicle?

You could do it in 10 min..

Plug Gap tool into laptop run software to get map onto tool.

Unplug tool and plug into Defender..

Follow the instructions on the screen.
