ECU and associated electrics
Hey all,
I am curious as to what equipment people are keeping in their drivers side seat box? Mine is for tool storage and other bits and pieces at the moment. I was going to mount the compressor in there but that is now going in the rear tub of the 130.
Cheers
Simon

Being a Puma mine has the ECU and associated stuff under there. Plus I've put in an extra fuse box and had the radio main part installed there but have removed it prior to sale.
Not much room for anything else.

In my County: Bottle jack, hi-lift adapter, recovery hitch, spare wheel bearings, UJs, fan belt, bulbs, fuses etc
FFR, 6x6 and 2a: Fuel
Mine is a puma, the fuses and relays have been moved to an Exbox.
So in mine. Spare fan belt, fuel filter (primary and secondary), snatch strap, winch pulley, hank of 10 mm rope. set of gloves, tyre repair kit, rear recovery tow bar thingo, folding shovel, 4 x 5 tonne rated shackles and a 3 tonne rated sling.
My socket sets (1/2" and 1/4")
copper and hide faced hammers
lump hammer
hub nut socket
Snatch block and shakle
1/2" Brace
1/2" breaker bar
Torx and allen sockets
222 and 243 Loctite
various sealants (Hylomar, av gasket goo, Loctite 518)
Liquid metal
anti-seize
32mm open ender (fan spanner)
Diesel spill/return hose
Silicone tape
tyre repair kits/plugs, etc
rags
stuff.
A fair bit of that stuff was used on a daily basis as the 130 used to be my work truck.
It's a great place to hide things, most people don't now it's there.
A little like the box under the back seat.

I keep recovery straps in there.
Except today I used them. It's a bit of a pain having them under the seat- unless you use a bit of foresight, they can be hard to get to when you really need them.
