    Diesel care fuel filter

    G’day people trying to fit up the diesel care filter but broke the original fittings in the fuel line, bought new fittings and now not 100% which way the connections go onto the filter . With line coming from tank onto back fitting on filter car will only run for 30 seconds then conk out other way around ticks over fine Rev it then car conks out
    Any help greatly appreciated

    What engine fitted ? If i had to guess sounds like an air leak in your fittings some where.

    Yup
    You have an leaking fitting
    Been there!
    Go over everything in the fuel supply line that is new - ensure 100% air tight
    You can have a leaky fitting that will suck air but not leak appreciable diesel
    '95 130 dual cab fender (gone to a better universe)
    '10 130 dual cab fender (getting to know it's neurons)

    You did the proper prime sequence right?
    2.2's have an in-tank lift pump, so you need to cycle the key to ON then OFF about a half dozen times to bleed the system.
