just in time it could be said ...
Removed the starter motor from my Td5 to take to the auto elec on Monday as it's been playing up. The top nut is a bugger to get to when you don't own any 3/8 drive socket stuff. Luckily I could borrow said gear from a mate.
Had an Ashcrpft ATB Transfer case diff fitted
This is what came out of my 2016 Defender 110

More cost cutting from JLR
The rear seat on my 110 has been getting pretty tatty for several years now. So yesterday I took the cushions in to a local upholsterer (by arrangement) at 0900, picked them up and parted with $200 at 1400.
Then spent this morning reinstalling them.

Sanded, repainted the rear cross member. Installed bumperettes that I acquired from a friend. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d784edc14d.jpg
I just modified my rear wheel carrier to accomodate a 20l Jerry. I have 2 types of Rims which have different offsets, so I had to make the plate adjustable to in & out 30mm anyway. The Jerry is strapped down, but with some added metalwork, it cant be removed with the carrier closed ( it can lock closed) Also, the Hi Lift Jack cant be pinched in the closed possy either.

Fitted a K&N air filter, Slick Shift from Syncro Gearboxes along with a LT230 Transfer Box Oil Feed Plate. Finished up with a transfer case cover from Roamer Drive. Impressed with the Slick Shift
Today, I actually drove it rather than repairing random stuff that decided to stop working [emoji51]
