Drying out the Landy and camping gear after a wet weekend away
Finished retrimming my headlining, along with making up panels for the rear. Yes that's camping mattress material
Material used to line was a cheap black polar fleece blanket from Kmart. Worked out rather well, just need to make up some
covers for the ribs.
Installed my mud roof console at the same time.

Haven't done it per se, but will soon enough. Ordered BAS' hi flow intercooler, 170 remap and 5 ply silicon hoses. Also ordered Provent 200 catch can. Once they all arrive will install all. Can't wait to see and feel the difference to the stock 2.2
Wondering what I should aim for next. Need a monitoring system for EGT's, long range tank, and new suspension all round would be nice.
Handy.
Cheers, Billy.
Keeping it simple is complicated.
Today's job was to fit a D2 handbrake lever. Was a fairly easy job, having a 25mm sheet metal hole saw already helped the most.
Reusing the rubber gaiter makes it almost looks factory.

Started to disassemble td5 for head gasket replacement, when inspecting the injectors, the tips look pretty cruddy, can you clean these with a fine sandpaper?
Not sure I'd use sandpaper! To clean mine I used a carbon removing solvent that I use with firearms. Cleaned them nicely, product was Boretech carbon remover.
Probably carburettor cleaner. I would not use any abrasive. Too much chance of damaging the edge of the holes.
