Tied into door circuit I presume.
I was thinking I might, but then I have used the side light circuit. The led lights are on a rheostat so I can have them very low at night. I found that it is very useful mainly for passengers needing to find items, and also gives a nice sense. I got the idea from my wife's BMW which has a red glow to match the instrument backlighting. So I matched the green!

Probably not everyone cup of tea, but I like them so far.

    Fitted rock sliders and step

Just got my rock sliders from Kingpin Fabrication - fitted perfectly and easy to fit. Very happy with the build quality and the service. Next items on the list Drifta drawers, Rijidij rear wheel carrier, front bash plate and Rijidij Gullwings.

I like those sliders a lot. May I ask how much? Missus doesn't like me spending money on the Defender.
My LR side steps only serve as lightweight sliders and have been forced up to crush that silly little pannel under the doors far too often.
    Cheers, Billy.

    Tropical Roof ??

Yesterday morning I fitted a tropical roof, it wasn't quite road legal though so I removed it in the afternoon.
They say things don't happen without pictures so here are a few for proof ..............

    Removal from original location.

    Arrival at new location.

    Setting posts and levelling.

Job complete and neighbours happy with their 'new' carport.

Another task completed with the assistance of the world's most versatile vehicle

Before you collapse laughing, this is a work in progress. It needs painting and screwed in place. It is to add some extra storage space to my daughter's 90. It sits in front of the bulk head. It is being made from an aluminium gutter that came down in the wind and got twisted. This is additional space to that behind the seats. The rear seat will still fold down. I will cover the top edge with heavy tape to keep it safe. It will be fitted slightly above the floor to allow the mat to be removed and refitted. Like I say a work in progress..

    Shack Map

    Shack Map
Just had my 1999 10P 130 TD5 tuning map by Shack
All I can say about this Bloke Shack he is an absolute pleasure to work with.
After doing a search about remapping and tunes on AULRO I noticed that Shack’s name kept on being mentioned.
So, I PM’ed him with what mods I had on the 130 and what I wanted to do in the future, and he was back to me straight away.
Shack told me what he needs from me and once sent he was back to me quickly and talked me thru how to install it. (I am a Bit of a numpty when it comes to these sort of things)
All I can say about the tune he gave me is WOW it has transformed the 130 into a more pleasurable vehicle to drive.
    I highly RECOMMEND Shack
