Looks pretty cool but crazy expensive! Even in SS that’s expensive. As some earlier said maybe a local firm can fabricate something?

I saw what I thought said Tough Tank on a cruiser a while back, looked similar in function and appeared like it was made of some Polly type material. Maybe a 3D or mounding job for someone with the gear? Shingleback maybe???

Didn’t want to be seen taking a photo, that could give the wrong impression;-)

A side locker is one of many potential products I have on my list, unfortunately I just don’t get much spare time to design new stuff.
Looking at this, it’s basically folded sheet metal and really doesn’t appear to be too complicated. If someone can supply basic dimensions I could draw something up on the computer and work out roughly what it would cost to do a batch of them. I would look at outsourcing them, but even then I can’t see them costing anywhere near $890 ea. I can definitely get a cost for laser cutting the components, and talk to my sheet metal guy about folding/welding them.
