    Td5 injectors staying open

Hi what would be the cause of the injectors staying open on a td5.
Have just replaced the head ( which was cracked) and now have the injectors staying open dumping fuel, is the a trick or procedure I'm missing?
    Cheers

    Td5 injectors staying open

Are the copper washers between the injectors and head leaking?
What makes you think they are open
TD5 injector failure is rare all of them failing after a head replacement smells like assembly error

I am not sure if bump stop adjustments would cause them to be open all the time as they have an electrical operated piezo

    Td5 injectors staying open

    Injectors are electronic activated.
If “they” (all of them) are open your ECU is stuffed.
My opinion is this is highly unlikely.
I think some more definitive investigation and diagnosis is required.
A Nanocom can test “activate” individual injectors for a starting point to further investigation.
Most likely issue following normal function from a head change is damaged injectors from mishandling, incorrect o rings fitted or fitment of the o rings is incorrect.
I’m not a gambling man but I’d bet a fair sum all injectors are not “open”
Copper washers seal the combustion gases and o rings seal the injector to the fuel gallery.
