    2015 Defender Using Coolant

I have a 2015 Defender that has a liking for coolant.
Uses about 500ml/ 250km. No external leaks evident.
I can leave the car parked for 12hrs and when opening the coolant cap it still has presure.
So I am at a loss to where it is going.
    Anybody have similar issues?

Had same issue with my MY13 and it was the coolant reservoir cap. Replaced and now ok, for how long I don't know.

Tried that ended up putting an Iveco cap on with seperate overflow.
Nothing in the overflow bottle but still using coolant.

Any stains on the concrete in the morning?
My VW is also losing coolant and found it on the concrete every morning, culprit was one of the many hoses

Take it to you local independent mechanic. Most of them have a kit to pressurise your radiator and you can check for a pressure drop and hopefully see the leak.

My 130 had a slight split in the header tank, only leaking under pressure, but not enough to see..but I could smell it when hot

Check the egr reservoir cooler ( back of motor) for internal leaks, this allows coolant form the reservoir through turbo and out exhaust . Mine went at approx. 80k

    Thanks guys,
    Ended up fixing head gasket.
Used one in a bottle as I can't afford to have 2 Defenders with engines out at the moment.
