I as originally going to get my 130 rims cut and rewelded, but a mate offered me a set of Mach V rims instead (7", 0 offset)
The impact on the turning circle cannot be overstated, it made it so much nicer to manoeuvre.
Somehow we have gotten wildly off top her gentleman!
So basically no spacers for me - however I do want to improve my turning circle, and have super robust steel rims. what are the options
Get genuine wolf rims "banded"
Go for some better offset steels - possibly bead lock
look into mine spec wheels
thoughts on a post card......

I run 16 x 8 zero offset Dynamic rims with 285/75 16 Mickey Thompson MTZ's on my 1998 300Tdi 130. Have down so for nearly 10 years. Turning circle over the standard wolf rims was on slightly better.

Spacers have been illegal for nearly ever & a day. Increases forces on bearings , studs & other components . Often near to or beyond their designed load limits. Just the same as increasing track. That's why the powers that be have put a limit of track increase of 25mm
Just because you have never had a problem with any said modification doesn't make it safe
Will also make your vehicle Unroadworthy & void your insurance ( especially when you need it most )
Yet they are generally perfectly legal (within reason) in most overseas jurisdictions - it is just that spacers and adaptors are illegal not matter what in Aust.
