Maintaining ride height with changes in load and keeping a low rate spring at all times.

...... leveling left to right with 75l of water on one side of the car, leveling up for the pop top, dropping to bump stops to store in garage..... turn your 2" lift on and off.......

for those that are interested. Koni Raids in the 0-40mm lift range at full droop with a fully inflated airbag.

Measurements (this being along the shock) from center of the top bolt to the top of the mounting plate for the lower mount, is 590mm or maybe it was 490mm but it defintely had a 90 in it

(not sure why it keeps rotating all my photos)

The front set turned up yesterday. Just have to get the time to install them.

But I am loving the bags in the back. It has cut out nearly all the sharp bumps I would feel previously. Also others had said it seemed a bit boat like on the speed humps, but Im not finding that.

I've been quoted AUS$11.5k for the VB Airsuspenssion kit by the Aus distributer (who hasn't done a defender before). It seems to be a pretty well engineered and complete system. (out of NL) Has full TUV compliance (not that that matters here). The brand is certified for used by VW and Merc.

Definitely a step up on price compared to the alternatives. All the UK custom Defender outfits seem to use this kit but my guess is the pricing may be more favorable that what i am being offered by an opportunistic local distributor whos main business is not 4wds.

    Looks awesome..

Just wondering what kind of money is involved? If DIY install

And so will the mod require engineering certificate?
    Cheers
