Puma 130 brake wear
Is it normal for a 130 to wear brakes more on the rear?
At 100k, for the first time, I replaced the rear pads with 90% wear and rotors. The front pads are only at about 60% worn.
All vehicles Ive had including Defender 110s wear more at the front.
I did have to replace the pistons as the chrome had pitted. I upgraded to stainless pistons. Maybe the pitting was impeding release, causing drag on the pad?

My Tdi 130 went through rear pads quicker than fronts, as does the D2

Yes. All traditional Land Rovers wear the rear pad much faster than the front.
