200tdi alternator bearings
Any ideas part numbers or where i can get specific bits?Alternator Decided to spit my belt when my alternator seized. No worries i thought ill put on a new belt. Oops alternator seized! I need to change at least rear bearing. Might aswell do front bearing aswell whilst im at it. Ive got it apart. I might post some pics but unsure how to upload pics. Anybody done this? Ie change front and rear bearing as well as the voltage regulator? And the diode. Can you call the alternator good as new? Any ideas where to at least get bearings? Bearing shop? Also how do i upload pics? I dont see a function here. Do i need to upgrade my subscription?

Re: bearings, can you read the numbers in the bearing? If so let your fingers do the walking.

CBC
BSC
Your local bearing joint
Any of the above should be able to source them.
Auto elecs might have them on the shelf if they are a common size.

Is the bearing went enough to seize then there will be other damage that won’t be repairable.
