			Lt77 jump out of first

Any body had this issue. I rebuilt gearbox about 3 or 4 years ago. Anybody know why jumping out of gear? Gearbox teardown? Only happens occasionally atm. Can it be too much endfloat on mainshaft or is worn dog teath on first gear?

Does the gear stick move at all when you go on and off the power?

What are you doing when it comes out of gear? Accelerating, braking, cruising.....?

Could just need an adjustment of the fork position if you’re lucky. You might even be able to do that without removing the gearbox. Otherwise I’d say the fork is worn too wide or as you say, the dog teeth.

Did you rebuild it yourself? The rebuild manual should have some measurements for fork position.

To be honest I’m not sure what symptoms you’d have with too much end float, why do you say that?
