    Broken 300tdi

Just picked up a 300tdi with a broken rocker.
Tipping this has been caused by a slipped timing belt.
What are the chances everything else will be ok?

    average,

you will have at least some damage to the pushrod and the lash cap. they occasionally bend the valve (especially if they are carboned up on the piston) which can ding the piston.

very rarely they will crack or deform the rocker shaft or lift one of the pedestals.

but IME in 90% of cases its nothing you need to lift the head for
