I ordered some about a month ago. I'm still waiting for them. Seems they are out of stock and I have no ETA on when they will arrive.
G’day any body running superior engineering front radius arms in there puma defender ? Are they worth the money and are they worth putting in ?
Thanks Richard

I have castor corrected superior engineering superflex arms in my defender and I quite like them.
There are a lot of posts about them on here with varying reviews. They can be a pain to fit (requires removing the shocks if I remember correctly) but no more difficult than fitting taller coils for example.
For me superior engineering were excellent to deal with service wise.
The arms do what they say, they correct castor.and they improve flex.
After a bad experience with a terrafirma adjustable Panhard rod I decided there was no way I was buying anything else from them, and have decided to get as much as I can from Australia.
The superior arms are excellent quality.
Spend some time considering if you really need the castor corrected ones, if you are just doing a 2" lift like I did they probably aren't required. But have a look.
TL;DR - they work and I would buy them again
Wicks,
How long have you had them in for and have you given them a real work out yet?
Would you describe your driving style as "Spirited"?
I like them and had them on the list until read more than 1 review claiming woeful on road handling - especially under heavy braking.
Have you experienced anything similar?
Hi
I used them for some time on an older landy. Still have the arms, but not the landy.
When used with long shocks, mine where 12" they tear out the front radius arms bushes in no time, like every few HD off road trips.
Used to order boxes of diff end bushes not singles.
If your just driving around on them normally they are probably OK, but then why fit them.
Mine were not caster corrected, rotated my swivels instead.
On road handing was OK (it was a 4" lifted truck) , but when the bushes tore (yes tore, not wore - there was no rubber left in the bush after a short time) the on road handling was terrible, particularly under brakes, slewing across lanes and requiring high levels of concentration.
They do as they say, but require a lot work to keep working.

G'day Cammo I've had mine for about 4 years and happy to report that I've given them a few decent workouts. Wouldn't really describe my driving style as spirited in general, but the 130 corners fairly flat.
I have a 2" lift and I have to say on road handling has not been negatively affected. Nay improved when compared to lifted with no castor correction.
The other element is I corrected the very slight change in track from the 2" lift (ends up being about a 5mm adjustment) and now have superpro bushes in the Panhard which has really solidified the steering and handling.
I've not had to replace my bushes in them yet. I have to say I haven't done as many trips as I want. I imagine if you did Menai every weekend it might wear them out a bit sooner but the whole point of the superflex design means it allows the bushes to flex a bit better, not really over stress them (when compared to standard arms).
Performance under heavy braking is good, and they have definitely improved front end articulation, especially when paired with apt superflex coils.
There's threads on front end flex, and I think that because the rear flexes so much better the front will generally not go all the way especially with a light rear with the ute.
Anyway, long story short - they work well and I would buy them again

Hi Pommy,
We are a supplier for all Superior gear, and have extensive experience with the superflex, hyperflex, and custom arm setups on Disco1, D90, 110 & 130 (both old and new)(and both on and offload)
It really depends what you want from your truck as to whether you would consider running them.
The other big thing is whether or not the rest of your suspension setup can utilize the extra travel afforded by the arms. That being said..that is not the only benefit gained by running the arms for offroad use.
We actually have a few suspension kits specifically specifically designed for use with the superflex arms as well, setting the truck up for more serious offroad use.
Kits range from part to complete for those who currently have a stockish suspension currently
Feel free too shoot any questions!

G’day Rick , I have a Gwyn Lewis challenge kit in my defender with oLd man emu shocks ome60070 11” that Gwyn recommended for his kit paired with APT superflexi springs just trying to get it all finished off to make it flex off-road. How long would it take to supply superior radius arms I am guessing the 2” castor corrected arms would work best for me being a 2015 110 wagon
Thanks Pommy

Hey Rick,
Every time I look at your site I see something new!
The shocks you supply, are they available in pin-pin configuration?
The rear Sway Bar looks like the missing link (pun intended) in my suspension.
