Can't comment on the GG AT3s sorry but as for recommendations for anything else, I'm very happy with the Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws on my Puma.
I kept with LT235/85R16 and a set of 4 incl balance was $1030.
One of my Maxxi's went pop last night and I'm told that the rest are about to go bang too. I've been offered a set of 4 Grabber AT3s (265/75/R16s) for $1090 fitted and balanced - which seems like a good deal.
Does anyone have any bad or good feed back on the Grabber ATs? Or would you recommend any other tyre?
And any thoughts on best size - mostly road use but I'm a builder so I carry a fair amount of gear and have to go off road every now and then.
I drive a 110 Puma 2008 by the way.

I had AT2s on 2 Defenders and they were good tyres. GG seem to have a fair reputation.

I've put about 10K on a set (235/85/16) and have been very happy with them. Next to no noise at high speed. Superior grip in the wet compared to KM2's etc. No chipping and very even wear to date. They do hold a few small stones from time to time, which is to be expected.
I run 32psi front and 34 in the rear on my TD5 90 and they ride very comfortably. Can take a little fine tuning with your individual weight distribution to find the right spot
That pricing seems very reasonable to me.
Cheers
Dave
I bought 5x 265/75/16 Micky Thompson ATZ P3's for my Navara and it cost me about $1600 for them fitted and balanced.
I have the ATZ P3's fitted to all 3 of my 4WD's ( I even have a set of 245/70/15 Deegans fitted on my caravan) and they have all been faultless so far despite the abuse they have had to suffer.
The ATZ P3's I have fitted to my heavily laden 79 series ute have done about 40k so far and there is about 80% tread left on them so they appear to be wearing well also no flats so far or sidewall damage.
They are a bit noisy But that is to be expected with any tyre with an aggressive tread pattern but they handle the sand, mud, rocks and bitumen with consummate ease and I have also noted that the braking is improved.
They do cost a bit more than the run of the mill tyres But they are priced similar to Coopers and Yoko Geolanders which are nowhere near as good a tyre.

We run these 265/70/17 on the missus '10 Prado 150. Had them on for a few years now (done about 49k) and they are starting to get noisy. I personally would not get them again for the missus car but its obviously quite different to a Defender... Wheel Alignment is far more important on a IFS car so our experience would probably be different to a RFS vehicle.
I try and rotate tyres every 5k but sometimes this blows out to 8k. Other than the noise the tyres have performed ok with only a couple of nails being found in the tyres recently, other than that & noise... all good
