Dogs x-ing on my car, what to do

As the title says, what can I do to stop dogs x-ing on my tyres.
I was thinking of getting a little 12 volt electric fence unit and putting that on via a small switch outside.

Note: this would not be used in town car parks etc.

Would it have any effects on the vehicle electrics?

The dogs are "Marking" their territory and they ALWAYS sniff the tyre before they pee on it.Carry a decent sized tin of white pepper and dust the wheels with it when you park up.This usually deters the little buggers but if it doesn't at least it ruins their day for them.

I have been thinking about these options since the mention of the pepper, which I will try. The problem is that I’ll need to be very fast and often as the place I go to have two dogs and it’s a constant game for them to pee on the cars just after the other has. Hence the idea of a small 12 volt electric fence system to just stop them once and for ever.
The owners’ vehicle has had the rims totally stopped of paint as they have been peeing on it for so long. And as we know, once one dog has marked it ALL the others will do the same

From what I've *heard* the electric fence energizer will work, possibly even providing the owner of the car with some satisfaction.
However, it may not stop them once and for all, dogs- like other animals can sometimes tell when it's turned off and may simply just start again, this introduces the possibility of a very strange game of russian roulette between you and said dog's.
