So it might not leak, might have power, and could be reliable? We can't have that.

I'd never buy anything from the existing JLR stable , the Ineos certainly looks promising , just hope they have petrol or Electric in mind. Diesel is history .

Faskinating. I think I'll wait for these mobs to lie down before I'll go along with that.

    Definitely real.
And there seems to have been a flurry of "publicity" for it, since the "new" Defender's release.

Yeh and they probably won't be able to replicate that endearing Defender quality of rusting when you are not looking

it is certainly real. They used to have a poll on what you wanted to see on the vehicle a while back, I gave them all the input that came to mind. Not sure about the BMW engines though... They used to be awesome but as I orated in another topic (diesel vs petrol) the quality of modern engines has decreased and BMW is no exception in my experience. I guess compared to the jlr offerings though

In any case, I have high hopes for an awesome vehicle but I fear for the NCAP adjustments that had to be made, not to mention the environmental stuff. We can already see that in the engine and gearbox choice.

    Cheers,
    -P
