Defender power windows - 60A Fuse blown

So on a recent trip on some corrugated roads the power windows stopped working....with a slight burning smell. Luckily the windows were up.

I had a bit of a poke around and on inspection the 60A fuse under the drivers seat had blown. The two 20A fuses in the fuse panel in front of the gear stick were ok.

Right about now I was thinking that the wiring between the A-pillar and the drivers door was the culprit as I had read a few posts about these issues.

When I got home and removed both door panels and inspected wiring looms - all was ok.
Checked the easy spots like behind the instrument cluster and stereo - all ok.

Decided to follow a mates suggestion to unbolt the fuse and relay panel in front of the gear stick to look behind there.

I think I may well have discovered the culprit...... the brown connector has rubbed against the loom that goes to the relay for the power windows.
The damaged power cable has then shorted against the metal bracket holding the relays and fuses.

Now the fun part to repair/replace the damaged cable...

I was going to post a thread but this looks like an entirely better place to post.

    - Are you able to post some pics of how and where the cables run from the body (A pillar) to the door, for the power window cables, please?

    - Did you happen to take any pictures of the inside of the doors, while the trim panels were off?

    Thanks

    Thank you !

    1. Any idea what part number those are?
    2. How do they not get crushed between door and A-pillar when door is closed?
