Strange isn't it. I also have had a 150 tune for 3 years and (Touch Wood) never used a drop between services, except for a **** weak cheap sump plug gasket supplied by a local numpty to my LR Guru that fell apart when it was only 2000 km old.

Interesting.....I too noticed an increase of oil use with the 170 BAS remap, I figured that the additional power is causing additional crank case pressures that may cause additional oil vapor into the crank case recirculation system, from the rocker cover back into the air intake....I bet the end of your hose where it goes into the turbo intake has a film of oil in it.
However; the 170BAS goes like stink with a decat and centre muffler removed, a bit too sooty for me though at full load.

I doubt it if its going past the rings, and being burnt.
A catch can may be helpful if it has a lot of blow by,but is only a band aid,the real issue needs to be sorted.
The Puma in my sig has the BAS remap, but it was done about 6 yrs ago,so it could be a different tune.
It has always run 5w/30 Valvoline,as thats what the Indie uses, and its never used any oil.

Up past the pistons and out the exhaust in your case.
As mentioned by others a change of brand may see your woes disappear.
If you’re pumping oil through your intercooler then your turbo cartridge is worn and allowing a lot of oil by the bearing. In which case it won’t be a “mist” of oil in your intercooler; it will be a significant amount.
