Thankyou, yeah i have no idea why the photos dont work, its the whole forum though when i view via my phone, im on on my laptop now though to see them all. I only ask weight as my tailgate is modified and works electronically via a big actuator and motor, but i also dont feel that the fold down table would really add too much on the already heavy tailgate. I love that your table folds down like it does! as most on market are too high for me to work with being in a wheelchair. i will PM you!

The design has been specifically crafted to fit over the Defender rear window footprint but I suppose it would be possible to adapt to other uses. Maybe PM me with specifics of width of door and target height of the table and I'll have a think.

To give you an idea the current setup lowers the table ~ 250mm from its stowed lower edge so depending on the height desired and the height of the Disco door/interior sill this will let you know what might be possible.

    Cheers

If you are using the AULRO app, they stopped working some time ago, if you use the Tapatalk app they still work ok, even on the non pro version.

I've been toying around with the thoughts of a gull wing but seeing this ,me thinks that, if I could make it lockable and as waterproof as the rest of my defender , I'd just remove the glass from the standard window and ditch the addition of a gull wing.

Do you mean like an upside down gullwing that doubles as a table?

I was going to reply "more like a table that doubles as an upside down gullwing", but I resisted.

so yes that's exactly the concept.

How much do these tables weigh?
The table with solid 1.2mm stainless steel platform (like in the video) weighs 9.7 kg packaged, so approximately 8.5 kg for the table unit itself. I will weigh one more accurately, but that will be a good guide.
