    Chinese defender doors

Anyone had experience with defender doors that are being made in China? Bit cheaper than the usual alternatives, just wondering what the fit is like.

    Cheers,

    Adam

I’d be more concerned with what metal was used and how quick corrosion will take hold. (My money is on it being quite sooner)

Can't be much worse than a 1980's Alfa.

hard to see how they can be worse than the land rover idea of putting steel and aluminum together. If they last 5yrs before the rust starts it will still beat the factory ones.

*From about 2005 - 2016 Defender doors were zinc plated steel frame and cladding.
*For a good quality long lasting door in a range of different materials try SP in the U.K who manufacture Defender doors. Parts & Accessories To Fit Land Rover Defender & Series - In Stock & Next Day Delivery
*or the cheap chinese ones and you get to support the CCP and they can keep blocking Australian exports as they so choose.

Yep been in contact with SP, their product is fantastic. It's also very expensive to have them shipped to Australia.

And yeah, I know the later doors were galv, but try buying one.

I bet $1,000,000 you're posting on a machine made mostly or entirely in China, so maybe leave that weird nationalist stuff at the door?
