It's owned by a friend and I think he's after about $3000 ono. The chassis & firewall has significant rust however ...........
If your chassis, firewall & body are in good condition it would make a nice engine swap, give you some spare running gear and you'd end up with a sought after Isuzu Diesel Landy.
And you could probably sell some of the running gear to recoup some of your costs.

Anyway, just a thought to get you away from a problematic V8.
perfect solution. A little 4bd1T with LT95 would make that 110 ute putt along very nicely. Only downside is the gearing make it bit of a screamer on the hwy. I'd rather face welding brackets onto a chassis than working through a gas converted V8 mess.

Current: (Diggy) MY10 D130 ute, locked F&R, air suspension and rolling on 35's.
    Current: (but in need of TLC) 200tdi 110 ute & a 300tdi 110 ute.
Current: (Steed) MY11 Audi RS5 phantom black (the daily driver)
    Gone: (Dorothy) MY99 TD5 D110

If you want a LR indie even closer then Glen at Eastern Prestige ( was Rover Land until there were objections) is in Kilsyth.

But the Isuzu comes complete with matching gearbox & Diffs etc - even has a Salisbury in the rear.

It's not getting fuel or spark. Is there any gas left in it?

Simple things, shut off valve on gas tank open?
    Solenoids are opening?
There is usually one near the tank, one near the converter.

Fuel, spark and compression. Nothing else needed, well, timing I guess.
As mentioned, gas in tank, gas tap on. and gas solenoid operating? Good battery, cranking and spark?

    This one sat for years.

    Plenty of gas mate.

May be spark - which would be an easy next one to rule out.

I'm pretty convinced it's something with the gas, though.

I don't have a multimeter - is there another way to check the solenoids? I Should hear them 'click', shouldn't I?
