Thread: 300tdi Defender with A/C - access to wiper park switch

I need to replace the wiper motor park switch on my daughters 110.
It’s looking like the the under dash aircon was just bolted on over the top of the lower dash - and there’s no way to access the lower inboard screw on the dash end piece for access to the wiper motor.
Before I grab the petrol and matches, can anyone confirm the aircon unit definitely has to come out - or is there an alternative access method?

I've done that job on mine, quite some years ago and the details I can remember won't be much help to except to say it can be done. Relentless web searching will surely result in success. I'm sure that's where I got my advice from. Sorry I can't be more help.
