    Front brakes and rotors

    Hi
Just come back from a Snowy Mountains trip, the front brakes really copped a hammering on the steep descents, Alpine way , dead horse gap to Tom Goggin I was locked in 2nd in my 96 130, on the way down after the 20km twisty descent I could smell the front brakes. Standard front brakes and rotors. Any suggestions for slotted front rotors and up graded pads. It's a heavy old girl carrying 75lt water, 120lt fuel, 90lt fridge , two spare wheels, drawers and camping gear. Usual touring set up.

Just make sure you have vented discs to begin with if looking for vented discs.
if yours has solid discs up front, you can replace the calipers, to allow fitting vented discs.
    Arthur.

All these discos are giving me a heart attack!
